Sound that keeps people listening

Our Story

Our Story

Soundof started at Metalworks Institute, where Brendan and Cameron met as students and both graduated top of the class. We trained on an 80 channel SSL and a Neve 8048 under engineers with credits including Drake, The Weeknd, and Justin Bieber. Years later, we built the studio we wanted to work with.

Since school the work has run through Disney Channel, Universal Music, Warner Records, and some of the largest shows in podcasting. Both of us still sit on every project, dialogue prep through final master. Nothing gets passed to a junior bench and nothing ships without a founder signing off.

FAQ

FAQ

Who do you typically work with?

Brands, studios, and creators who treat audio as a product, not a side project. That's usually media companies running multi-show slates, subject-matter experts turning expertise into a series, and marketing teams who need a branded show that actually holds attention. If you have the message and need the pipeline, you're our client.

What’s your creative process like?

We start with a sound bible — tone, pacing, sonic identity, and the editorial rules that keep every episode feeling like the same show. From there we build the pipeline: templates, SOPs, and delivery schedules tailored to your cadence. Once it's running, you record and we handle the rest, with a fixed revision window on every episode so nothing sits in limbo.

How long does a typical project take?

Onboarding and pipeline build runs 2–4 weeks depending on scope. After that, ongoing episodes turn around within a standard weekly cycle — most clients get final masters 3–5 business days after receiving raw files. Cinematic or heavily sound-designed formats sit at the longer end, and we'll tell you exactly where you land before you sign anything.

What does a typical engagement cost?

Our showrunning packages are priced per month based on episode cadence, format complexity, and whether video is in scope — most ongoing partnerships land between $1500 and $2000 per month. One-off production and sound design work is quoted per project. We'll give you a real number on the first call rather than a range that shifts once you're invested.

What deliverables can we expect?

Broadcast-ready masters to spec for every major platform, plus the full ecosystem around them: video versions, social cutdowns, audiograms, show notes, and chapter markers. Everything ships to a shared drive on a set schedule with naming conventions that make sense six months from now. Exact deliverables are defined in your package, so there are no surprise line items.

How do we get started?

Start a project and tell us what you're building — takes about two minutes. We'll follow up within one business day to book an intro call, listen to what you have (or what you're planning), and tell you honestly whether we're the right fit. If it is, you'll have a scoped proposal within a few days and onboarding starts immediately.
